When you go into the exam, before you start ASK FOR SCRATCH PAPER! You will need it to write down important info before you do anything!!!

here is a strategy that seems to work with

INFORMATION GATHERING - Choose as many as you think Indicated:

1. On the paper, Prioritize your options choices for Checking from MOST complete and MOST correct to Least complete and least correct
2. Only after you have do this start to Check the ones MOST complete first going down to your LEAST probable choice
3. HOPEFULLY you stop checking before you get a NOT INDICATED
4. IF you check a choice that has a response of NOT INDICATED,(hopefully you don't get that far down on the list) you know that you are through choosing - NOT INDICATED means you are losing points! STOP CHOOSING
4. IF the first or second choice you Check is a NOT INDICATED response there is something wrong with the way you are looking at Question - reread the question
5. When you choose an option that says INDICATED WRITE DOWN THE ADDITION INFO THEY GIVE you will need it later - remember you can not go back once you go forward!!

DECISION MAKING - Choose only one

Remember the addition info you wrote down? Many times you will need this to make DECISIONS - refer to that info for decision making

1. The choices for decision making are not always TOTALLY correct - there might be some part of the choice that is incorrect. BUT overall, if that choice is better than all the other choices (even though a part of it is not totally correct)- CHOOSE IT.
2. If the choice Is dead wrong (like a diagnosis) but also has some correct parts in it, DON'T CHOOSE IT!
3, Choose a diagnosis that is CORRECT even if it has some other parts that are not totally correct over an incorrect Diagnosis that has other parts that are totally correct.

With friendly greetings,

Linton

PS. PLEASE remember to download the info on Groups!!!!!!
