Mr,Frog
We may have something going here. I really believe it's a scam how they talk about ethics to us and yet want us to buy books from them, who give the test. Some how it's not right. The test should be no more then 100 questions and the passing score should be the same each time. I dopn't know of any other agency that test like this.

i know your pain i missed by 2 points. i feel the test was different than all the study guides we have paid for. I took a class in IL and it wasn't even close to the material on the test. I believe it was designed for someone with a year of experence inthe field. i take it again in Feb, waiting 3 months is foolish also. Once i pass this thing it will be my goal to change the rules and testing procedures. it's over the top. Just my thoughts.

Hi. Was confused about comment about the scoring changing depending on who takes it and when. I thought the exam was 160 questions (40 of them are for research purposes only and it doesn't matter how they're answered) and if you get 70% correct you pass. Seems straightforward enough. Am I missing something?
Different questions are worth different points! Each test is different and they say they are equal in difficulity........ so a score of 99 may be passing for you, but not for the other testers. Plus, you do not know if it is a 'test question' or a 'reseach question'. I agree with all the other comments here, the test is more "applied" than learning or knowing the material. I failed by 2 points and I felt that I knew the material very well.
